Hello everyone. We have survived Spring Break. WooHoo!! Actually, it wasn't so bad. I was terrible about enforcing bedtime. Which meant the kids were up way too late and slept in almost every day. The only thing that saved them getting back on schedule was us deciding to go camping for one night at the end of break.
They had to be up early on Saturday to leave and then of course when one camps, you go to bed way earlier because it is dark and get up at a reasonable hour because the sun comes up. Camping was really fun actually.
It never ceases to amaze me how much in his element my son is when we do stuff like that. He spent hours at the creek trying to catch little bitty fish with his net. He loves it. It's like when we went to Rocky Point last fall and he spent hours on the beach with the tide out searching for little creatures in the tide pools. He seems so at peace when he gets to do stuff like that. At least until you make him switch gears to something else! LOL!
Now, back to work, back to school. Oh the joys of real life! Be well. :)

Moving along
Good morning! So I figured it was time to check in quick. Things have been going pretty well actually. My son is having good days at school. For a solid two weeks now in fact. That is a refreshing change I have to say. His vitamin regimen also seems to be going really well. He isn't having any hypoglycemic mood swings and he is putting on some serious weight. I've always had to buy him slim pants or adjustable waist ones and then pull the elastic all the way out to make them small enough. We are finally having to let is all the way back in! I haven't weighed him lately but I would guess he is just over 80 lbs now and when we started this around November he was closer to 65. That's amazing if you ask me. I think he is getting taller too.
Guess after all the conflict I had with the nutritionist I am glad I stuck with it. For once. There are plenty of things we have tried that I shouldn't have stuck with! I'm please this doesn't seem to be one of them.
Be well! Spring is here, almost. :)
